Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek was born in the United States. She played Tiffany Wilson in 2004's White Chicks, Danielle Brooks on USA Network TV series Covert Affairs as well as Dr. Amber Volakis for Fox House as well as House the House. Lura Grant can be seen on HBO Big Love. Francine Hanson appears on AMC Mad Men. Anne Dudek, an American actor, is known best for her role as Tiffany Wilson in 2004's comedy film White Chicks. Her television appearances are Dr. Amber Volakis, in the Fox's House sitcom Danielle Brookson, in USA Network drama Covert Affairs; and Lura Gran in HBO Drama Big Love. Dudek was born and raised in Massachusetts. She was a student at Northwestern University, where her first performance as an actress was on stage was in a production called The Iphigenia Cycle. The production was staged in New York City, the production was withdrawn from Broadway where Dudek received the Joseph E. calloway award and American Theater Magazine profiled her as a promising young actress to watch. Dudek played roles on TV as well as in films. Matthew Heller, the talented actress and mother-of-two behind the camera, was her husband from the year 2008 until 2016. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts, on March 22, 1975. Her family was from Newton. When she was a child she was a student at Northwestern University where she performed in various theatre productions. Dudek also made her Broadway debut in Wrong Mountain (2000). In the following year, she received the Connecticut Critics Circle Award in the recognition of her role in The Glass Menagerie. She then appeared on television beginning with The Book Group, a British comedy drama The Book Group. Since then, she has guest-starred in a variety of TV shows including Desperate Housewives, Friends The Way I Met Your Mother Charmed Bones Six Feet Under and Desperate Housewives. Additionally, she played Lucinda in the first episode of Psych. She then played an instructor at a high school who has romance with one of her students on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek was then offered a regular character on House from its fourth season portraying Amber Volakis one of the doctors who are being considered by the Dr. Gregory House for permanent posts on his team. Amber Volakis' character continued to be featured throughout the entire series until it was finally killed off at the end in House's Heart. In the following episode, she appeared in the show's episode Saviors in Season 5 as the character who was House's hallucination. The character continued to be seen as House for the remainder of the season. Dudek was later seen in the role of Francine, the next-door neighbour in Mad Men and as Alby's adversarial wife in Big Love. Dudek was featured in Covert Affairs as Danielle Brooks, the sister to the main character. Dudek has appeared in various films, playing Tiffany Wilson the cruise line family member of Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy White Chicks.
