Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. Additionally, she was a part of in the SSC as the producer, costume/set design composer/music director, and text-coach while serving as Artistic Direction. Although she was usually the leader of her ensembles, her first directing role was with SSC King Lear.
